Watch the new Halo: Helljumper: Episode 1! It just came out yesterday (Even though it was seen in some NY theater a month in advance) and it looks promising! Tell me what you think!
i watch it yesterday and it was awesome
I’ve been watching this story for a few weeks now and didn’t know when an episode was going to be released. After watching ep 1… I’m going to go watch it again and again till the next one comes out.
Best costume and weapons prop i have seen in a fan made film. Also the CGI for the grunt was awsome! 
I liked it all, the grunt seemed pretty real! I hope they continue making more.
It was some really really good stuff. I had been waiting for something like this for a long time. Some of the effects where amazing, like when the ODST first gets out of his drop pod, just visually stunning!
I really enjoyed the two episodes. Wang produces great action scenes for a fan made film and the special effects on such a limited budget were really great.
But, although the acting isn’t bad on the whole and for a fan made film it is good there are a few dodgy performances but they are expected
The only problems I have is the plot. If they good get a decent writer aboard I feel they could go really big. Their VE team is superb, and with a decent plot and framing device they have the potential to be really big. Roosterteeth big.
Good work though, and great to see a fanmade thing get so much attention!

They are excellent. Considering the fact that it is not an official Microsoft short, they have great production value.

We’ve already waited seven years since the initial Halo script was being passed around, but I think we will have to wait a few more. It’s hard for films to come out of the movie purgatory it has been sent to.
I think the Helljumper series is rather enjoyable, although I have some gripes about effects and acting, there is only so much you can do with a limited budget. Looking past that, I think it’s a great example and probably the next best live action after the official Blomkamp shorts.

Acting and camera work on episode 2 was much better. Love it, looking forward to ep3.
Some day 343 will get wise to the millions they could make with a movie. Its not like they don’t have content.
