Mad Catz and MS are in partner ship to release a new line of Halo Headets!
Now, it’s likely they will release a variety of spartan (and ODST) helmets to wear. Each helmet would:
- be fitted with a headset and mic that allows you to communicate with your team, just like a regular mic.
- the visr will connect and intergrate with your team mates, showing their service tags and vital signs (whether they’re dead or alive) on the side.
- on top of that, it would expand on competitive communication. Similar to what the spartans wear in the books, each helmet would be equipped with a tactical light communication system, which can be activated to communicate with your team mates. Keying in a light will light up your profile on your team mate’s VISR.
One light = you understand the order. 2 lights = Confirmed kill. the possibilities are endless.
- the helmet will also double up as a nifty outfit accesscory: whether you’re out shopping with friends or walking the dog, don’t be caught dead in public without your MJOLNIR helmet on.
Complete with external torch, for when annoying Mr. Storm comes along and knocks out your power.

I did too…I am holding off buying a new xbox though…I want to see if they’ll be a Halo 4 one this Fall. ( I assume there will be just, playing the waiting game now. )
We all know that Mad Catz is a sign of pure quality, their products have an amazing life spawn unmatched by few, a shopping 2-3 months before broken (at least controllers) ensures that you can get your daily dose of “main chat madness”, and just when you’re fed up with random kids raging, people listing to music or kids crying, they break and save you from all such problems.
“Mad Catz, you have to be mad as a Cat not to buy our things”
I know that Mad Catz doesn’t exactly have a good reputation for controllers, however their higher-end arcade sticks are very, very, nicely built with quality components.
Don’t instantly assume that all Mad Catz products are poor quality.
Im still confused to the point of that whole deal, do people really care that much for their 1 inch headset to have a slight halo theme which could probably just be painted on due to it just being something simple like all green or sliver like past halo headsets? And at a premium cost? I think i’ll just stick to my day one wireless head set that is still kicking.
