I love how people consistently talk about Halo 5 declining population and sales yet a lot of people on here either mainly play pc or ps4.or even worse don’t even buy a Xbox one and just play halo reach (which isn’t that bad) but holy -Yoink- guys you are the reason that halo is failing. I own a xbox 360 and Xbox one not xbone I mean Jesus Christ you guys can’t even take the time and just type it out. JUST BUY THE -Yoinking!- GAMES AND THEN YOU CAN TALK FRAUDS.

The community wasn’t always this bad, people say otherwise but I can tell you this didn’t start till around reach and even then it wasn’t this bad.
It’s always been pretty bad, but never as bad as when Halo: Reach was released.
I don’t like the game, nor do I like Halo 4 (which only caused more issues), but it’s still no excuse.

I don’t speak for everyone, but there are people out there who troll both halo and the forums trying to start hate and problems and don’t even have the game.

Yeah, it was around when Reach released that things took a really bad turn. People are still arguing over it.

Yea, those kinds of issues may be constructively criticized, but there’s a fine line between that and total redundant bashing.

Yet again, a few posters on an obscure forum aren’t the reason the “game is failing”. Far from it.
A lot of the complainers do own the game, and I suspect the majority own an xbox one. Not that either of those things are really relevant (and as for your “just buy it you frauds” comment, why would they want to buy a game that they hate?)
I can’t stress this enough, since this point is constantly lost on you people, but going around and prodding the naysayers doesn’t make the community better. You’re just stirring up even more drama.

I think the big problem is they’ve changed so much of the game that a lot of the old fan base (myself included) don’t feel comfortable with everything.

You weren’t here in the Halcyon days, were people got along, wanted to learn the lore, talked about their favorite weapons, and the Assault Rifle was loved.
You don’t force someone to play a game they don’t enjoy anymore. If people don’t like it hey can either ask for change so it’s fun again or leave. Aren’t most of you saying “adapt or leave”? Well people are leaving, because what Halo is now is not like what Halo used to be. And since people say “adapt or leave” and since you don’t force someone to enjoy a game they don’t enjoy, people leave. And now you’re complaining people are ditching the Xbox One? No wonder, people bought it for Halo, if the Xbox One doesn’t have Halo they enjoyed, then what’s the point of buying it? But because they love the franchise so much they still want to voice their opinion on how to make it great again, because you can’t deny Halo is in a decline.
hmmm i just came here because i want to gather info to help me decide between halo 5 and COD im not a hardcore mp fps guy, i played throw MCC tho ( idc about console war i own ps4/xboxone and a pc ).
This sounds horrible not enough players already ?!!?? after 2-3 months of the release WTF ?! im leaning to COD at this point
can you help me change my mind? cause im kinda tired of COD, but not enough players to play online (casually) with is a deal breaker for me.

I haven’t played Halo 5 in awhile, but I’d assume you can still find games.
That said, neither? There’s no rule that you have to spend your money on either game, and although I would suggest CoD you can’t change the fact that you’re bored with it.
I’d recommend renting Halo 5 for the Campaign, but that’s about it.

I was talking about Halo Reach, I love Halo 5 haha.
just not proud of everything that goes on but that’s no reason to give up on it
