I don’t want to be a troll here but please listen. I’ve defended H4 because at its core I think it is a great game. What I am disappointed at is how map movement has been eliminated. With everyone spawning with a DMR, the map movement which has delighted halo fans has been erased. My glory days were Halo 3, not because I was awesome at it, but because it provided a great map flow where every aspect was balanced. Even if you saw an opponent moving at distance, you had to recollect your strategy and plan for a future engagement where you could gain the upper hand. The sniper and beam rifle countered this, but there were only 1 or 2 on the map. With everyone spawning with a pocket sniper (DMR), it’s first sight first kill; from distances normally impossible unless you had one of the aforementioned distance weapons. This promotes camping and stagnation. I played CTF in H4 because it still held onto some basic principle of this. With Infinity CTF, that is gone. The holy trinity of guns, grenades, melee has devolved into sit back and DMR. The risk and reward of being brazen and acquiring power weapons and equipment has been lost in this game. I honestly think this game could be salvaged with the complete removal of the DMR. I’m not even complaining about camo snipers or boltshoters because each of these can be defeated with proper strategy. Power weapons that can reach out and touch someone used to be feared, now they are a dime a dozen and create a stagnant game. Please remedy your title 343, because the population numbers do not lie. Thank you for reading.
Inb4 “just use cover, herpderp”.
Even though the DMR will kill you before you can even sprint from one rock to the other due to the killtime and how easy it is to aim.
Inb4 "learn to ada-
Oh, nevermind…
Inb4 “THE DMR IS PERFECTLY BALANCED”
I’m not interested in flame wars, it just makes me sad that such a perfect game has been reduced to DMR from the hip. And I realize my stats are average.

You can only adapt to cancer so much. And power weapons for everyone is certainly cancer.
