Halo Has Failed To Keep My Interest

Long time Halo veteran since CE. Already totally bored with Halo 4. Broken customs, tiny Forge, campaign not worth replaying, boring repetitive Spartan Ops, broken random repetitive and frustrating multiplayer. Moving on to better things now, like Planetside 2.

This game is like Battlefield 3 (x10 in terms of scale though) meets Command & Conquer. Here is another video about it.

I’m having a total blast with Planetside 2. This MMOFPS is for the PC gamers out there. This game is also totally FREE. Go check it out! Just wanted to let other people know about it! See you on the battlefield. Long live the Terran Republic!

I’m glad I am no longer blind. This is how a game should be, fun as hell. Halo certainly is not now.

Who cares if you quit? (no offence, but it’s true) And nice advertising bro lol And Halo 4 is amazing game. I love it now, and will love it even more after they fix the few small issues the game has.

halo is fun as hell to me and that’s all that matters to me.

im with you OP, i was playing the other day and just stopped because i realized i wasnt really having fun and was only playing for xp. xp is a lame incentive, fun game play that the other halo titles have had worked much better.

haven’t played multiplayer since week1 and i’m okay with that. tried to forge a bit but not a fan of it in this game.

spartan ops is boring.

basically i’m bored of this generation. no innovation anymore. halo devolved by moving towards COD

You know I was loving the looks of Planetside 2.

Then I saw it was just an mmofps and lost all interest. I’m not one of those who enjoys “online only” games. Halo at least has a campaign and other components that can be enjoyed offline without the presence of the scummy online community.

That said, I’m a longtime Halo fan too and I’m really liking Halo 4. Most enjoyment I’ve had since Halo 3 (and by extension ODST though that was mainly a spinoff) and before that Halo 1. H2 and Reach were abysmal.

It’s funny, I found my interest dipping a bit for about a week or so last week compared from the first two weeks after launch when I played all the time. I was afraid I was losing interest, but now I’m finding I’m having a lot of fun again. I started branching out and playing different playlists and I’m having a blast. I like the game, I have fun friends to play it with… It’s different, but I can still enjoy it.
