Seems like Halo Infinite has been overtaken by hackers. It’s true because they are using keyboard and mouse. They are invincible. I saw them used cheats.
TBH, I will never never never never get better due to their hacking.

Make sure you report them to halo support and save game videos as evidence.
As an Xbox player, this is why I want a crossplay toggle.

No thank you. I’m not going through this process ever TF again. It took them 2 months and I still don’t know if that kid was banned. F this company from top to bottom. Haven’t played since January and I’m glad. This game is hot F’N garbage.

I will say, we got a kid in the last game that went 40-4 at like Platinum 6, and I checked their Halotracker and they’d had completely mediocre scores the last ten games or so. Think it’s the first time I’ve seen what amounts to probably genuine cheating, versus the smurfs which unfortunately don’t seem super uncommon.
But yeah, I reported a clear cheater a few months ago and never heard anything back. So, not much point reporting. If they wanted that info, they’d create an in-game report option.

the controler or mouse and keyboard has notting to do with cheating at all more.
its more the platform there are playing on is the problem more.
and there is 1 platform that has sadly a big reputation where the most off the cheaters are coming from.
I’ve probably run into at least one cheater by now. But It’s not really that easy to tell unless they’re being blatant about it. One match yesterday started were our team got every core in the first drop off ( BTB ), putting us at one or two short from hitting 2 scores almost instantly. Then the rest of the game it felt like the rest of my team wasn’t doing anything at all.
At the end we actually ended up losing, but in the text chat apparently there were complaints about a hacker. Couldn’t tell at all if there was or not.
so there are also now using cheat’s in the social playerlist’s like BTB and not only ranked any more wow so there got bored off the ranked and come to the social playlist now.
An inch into a mile. Yes I do believe one cheater is one too many but, to say it’s been overtaken by cheaters is over exaggerating. I’ve only ran into one cheater that was obvious and if I ran into more than just that one, then it never stuck out and was obvious to me or anyone else. I’ve got a few messages accusing me of cheating, I just laugh and block them.

Between the miriad of other things like desync, I don’t know if the player is cheating, or if Im just not seeing what they are. It’s a mess.

I think its desync issues, as i said on another post that ive had games where its felt like i was 5 steps ahead or 5 behind getting shot round corners
though i don’t mind crossplay… a way to toggle it on/off like in MCC would certainly help those on console. and also a better anti-cheat to help those on pc and console (assuming there is console players whom also don’t mind crossplay)
