Halo has a really nice forum.

There are perks of having a franchise that makes millions of dollars. The result is a really nice forum. I just wanted to point out that it looks nice, is easy to use, uncomplicated, and a great way to stay connected to Halo 5. Anybody with me?

Oh my gosh yes, I love the waypoint forums. You can do so much stuff and it’s not confusing. It also looks very nice and it’s very well monitored, thanks to the monitors of course. Even if I stop playing Halo, I’ll always stay here and post on the forums.

I think I like it better than I did b.net anyway.

I like the neutrality from some fans, but I don’t like the blind loyalty/fanboyism

Yeah, and the people here are much kinder than people I’ve seen on other forums I’ve used.

They are, unless its the sprint thread or any other mega thread.

Haha so true.

Or if someone decides to -Yoink- about a ban that they clearly deserved.

And how about all the necroposting? Seriously I don’t understand how people even find those ancient topics.

And sometimes after someone revives one, I accidentally post in it without looking at the date just because other people are doing it, and then I feel like an idiot when someone points out that it was necrobumped.

For anyone interested, there was a really nice web conference on the creation of Halo Waypoint done last year. A lot has changed since then, but it’s really interesting to see how everything came together and things work here

I don’t understand how people find those threads either. I can maybe understand threads that are a couple months old, but every few days, I’ll be looking through General Discussion or Universe, and I swear I’ll see a thread from mid-2015 or earlier.

They probably google some Halo thing they want to know and sees old thread without knowing that it is so old.

That is the reason why I wont usually post to threads that have over 30 post.

Third post from me to this thread, I guess it is ok?

I really like Halo Waypoint, I enjoy if I can help someone in some way.

Yes I’ve always noticed that the halo forum are like this. compared to others it is fantastic.

I agree that’s why I check it multiple times a day.

Yes this is definitely one of the better forums out there! Kudos to the team behind it! Thanks for giving me a great way to kill some time at work and have fun talking about a great franchise.

I agree. Was never into forums in the past, but this one is great!
