A group of my friends and i have been thinking that since we have been able to play as ODSTs why not play as grunts as well.
This is what we have come up with so far multiplayer will have only grunts so as in you are a grunt fighting other grunts with plasma rifles, pistols and needelers plus plasma grenades. There would be 2 armor abilities waddle (sprint for grunts) and suicide rush (sprint with two plasmas stuck to your hands).
Armor customization wise you would pick from any armor that grunts have worn in the past and you could change your colors and emblems.
Campaign wise you would fight your way across Halos 1-3 (including ODST) or maybe some battles in the Halo universe that not many people know about (like Harvest). There would be UNSC and Covenant AIs (and yes that includes 117).
Just wondering if anyone else would like to see this made by 343 or not. Also post any ideas you might have for this.

Nah, sorry. it wouldn’t work, and so much hate would be given towards Halo. I don’t hate your idea though. I want to play as the arbiter from halo 1-3, and they should implement sangeili into multiplayer in halo 4-6. Yapyap, if you read the books, is the most bad -Yoink- grunt there is, and he survived so much, but died when halo was destroyed (installation 04). Cool idea though, but it wouldnt sell, it wouldnt be deep, rich, and the budget would be sucky. If you want, you can buy copyright permissions from Bungie and 343, and develop a game like that. I develop small games as a hobby, and if you have any ideas i’d gladly help. don’t expect anything worth 220 mil, i’m only in junior high, but i like halo, and i’d like to expand the franchise

Maybe we could play as various Grunts throughout the main trilogy because your Grunt would die upon seeing the Master Chief. Like this. 
Jokes aside, you wouldn’t survive fighting Chief unless you were Yayap but you die at the end of Halo CE. Also, it might not work well anyway.
