A few years back microsoft made a tabletop game called “halo: ground command” to play out iconic scenes and battles from halo, alongside the space ship version of the game “halo: Fleet battles” they were both amazing games but sadly the third party company making the games (Spartan games) shut down.
I would love for this thread to spread some awareness of the game and perhaps show microsoft that its worth a revival, check out the facebook group that is still going strong for this game, and if anyone from 343 sees this can we get a update on any plans for the future of ground command?
I tried getting my hands on a set a while back of either game and had no luck. It’s a table top game, which is already pretty niche these days. Then it’s even more niche because it’s fairly expensive. I imagine a big part of why Spartan Games went under was because they made a very high-quality and expensive product that not enough people wanted. And I don’t know if that sentiment has changed enough to warrant going through the process of acquiring all the rights and re-releasing the game.
