Halo games PC "Not Installed" even though they are

Hey everyone!

So I installed the full MCC on my PC from the Windows Store and I can see everything is installed on the C drive. But whenever I go to the game page it says “Game is installed” but there is no play button. I have to search for the game’s .exe and launch it. And then within the main menus of the MCC, I get the message “Game is not installed, would you like to download it?” and clicking yes doesn’t go anywhere. All of the Halos give the same error. I can’t figure this out. Any ideas?

Hey OP, what you might need to do here is search the store for each individual game -

  • Halo: Reach - Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary - Halo 2: Anniversary - Halo 3 - Halo 3: ODST - Halo 4There is a 10mb license file that is supposed to get downloaded, but sometimes doesn’t. Once you download the license for each one you should be good to go, just start the game up again
