I may sound like a whining -Yoink!- in this post but I really want the flood back! None of this game mode -Yoink- but the campaign, I really want the flood back because it gave a sense of fear, unlike the Prometheans. My guess it that 343i are trying to make it more child friendly but this isn’t a children s game… Also (completely not related) who thinks the covenant were better when they were winning the war?
I disagree. Lorewise the Flood is interesting but I’ve always hated all gameplay related to combating the flood. It’s annoying and plain boring. I seriously doubt that 343 went in this direction to make it more children-friendly. Touching the subject of forerunners was inevitable and I like that we are getting to know more about them in the games.
Flood is done now. 343 is moving on with new enemies like the soldiers and knights, and honestly they seem to be pretty good.
Although I do kinda agree that the covenant were better when they were winning the war cause now the UNSC is kinda stepping all over them and its such a huge contrast now.
