Halo FUD episode 4 is amazing !

For people who are complaining about the chief’s voice i guess they can justify it because he is alot younger then in the games.

Everything is perfect in the series, the elites are very intimidating, and the chief really does carry the role of a hero. i cannot wait for episode 5 !

I loved this week’s (today’s) episode! So awesome!

The only things I didn’t like were;

  1. After Dimah’s (presumed) death, the Asian guy had to be the first to die. And then the ginger!
  2. Everyone died too fast - but I guess this can make sense, as the Covenant are very powerful and had a massive fleet of ships. Human population is also very low - scattered all across the universe.
  3. The episode is too short. It would have been a lot better if all the events didn’t feel “crammed” into one 15-minute episode.

What I really liked:

  1. The action!
  2. The Covenant are introduced and portrayed as a very intimidating and powerful alien alliance.
  3. How Master Chief comes into the episode. I still think that the previous (episode 3) should have ended with the “Stay close to me, it’s your best chance of survival” line.
    Master Chief: “You’re the only survivors.”
    Cadet: “In the school?”
    Master Chief: “On the planet.”
  4. How Vickers tries to save his squadmates. I love how Vickers is in a way, an enemy of the main character (Thomas Lasky) but we get to understand his actions and why he doesn’t like Lasky. Most of us don’t hate Vickers. I like how Vickers tries to save his squadmates because it proves that he’s not a heartless cadet, he’s a strong person like the rest of Hastati Squad. I was very happy to see that he didn’t kill the Elite, the Elite sliced that guy in half upon seeing him. It really shows us how powerful and scary the Elites can be.
  5. That stealth Elite in his active camo!
  6. The episode is pretty believable. Thank God that the writers didn’t decide to be all cheesy and make the cadets kill off most of the Elites with Assault Rifles.
  7. The episode gives me chills.

It was a great episode, my only regret would be the death of Vickers, as I felt that he was one of the better characters, although I believe that they did his death well. One of the best scenes was when Lasky runs over to the Warthog and finds the body of General Black (?) in the driver’s seat.
