When I first went to GameStop to buy Halo Four, I was beyond excited. More than a year goes by, and you start to realize how these views change. I view Halo Four with a light contempt, yet loving and the same time. It started a couple of weeks ago, when I threw the familiar disc into my 360, and i launched campaign, only to realize that all of my progress had disappeared. Which, in all honestly, is fine. I was gearing up to play the campaign on Legendary for the first time, so my previous progress did not matter heavily to myself. I got a few missions in on Legendary, only to realize that my commendation for beating the third mission, Forerunner, had not registered when i beat the mission, yet my campaign screen acknowledged the achievement. This drove me beyond angry. I have yet to progress further than this mission on Legendary, and am not able to choose any other missions because, as stated previously, the game had lost my campaign data for some mysterious, infuriating reason. Now, when I load Forerunner, it refuses to move past rally alpha. I played the game for about forty-five minutes, got until the last set of pylons to take out, and I had to save and quit the game, due to my Mother’s Day obligations. I reloaded the game several hours later, and it loaded all the way before the first pylons, two rally points behind my progress. This drove me crazy, having spent an immense amount of effort to get that far without dropping my assault rifle (for the achievement), and now i keep having to start over. Any similar issues?
That’s really odd, I never realized that this happened on any Halo game other than the Master Chief Collection. So far, I haven’t had any problems on my 360.
Btw, I think this thread should be moved to the Halo 4 Support forum. You could ask a monitor to assist you.
