I’m thinking about trying my forging abilities but find that I am lost when it comes what all the different things do. Can anybody recommend a good guide that I could use to learn the ins and outs of Forge?

I haven’t seen dummies in Forge mode in my life.

I didn’t mean it as an insult. You know like the self help books!!! Lol

The only real way to get good at Forge is to use it.

Find an object you like. Build a larger object or environment around it; it doesn’t have to make sense or be meant to be on a map. You’re just getting things down for the moment. Like your item/environment? Good. Find another object you like. Make a bigger object.

Keep going, until you feel you’re ready.

Start with a map you can mess around on and build random objects and work on simple scripting. Most maps I make are just to test out tools and objects, only a few are playable.
