Halo: Forge Evolved (For your PC)

So you hear people in the forums asking for Forge 3.0 to be more advanced in the way of geometry shaping, weather changing and other realy cool stuff.
To be honest, i’m not a game designer but i am pretty sure that a forge that powerful would requre more space on the disc. Also, I would like to point out that your imagination would be limited by what you can physicaly do with your controler.

So I propose…

Halo: Forge Evolved

It would be disc based program for your PC wich alloed you to create/modify maps on your computer.
The use of the mouse and keyboard would be far easier and less confining than your Xbox controler with 6 buttons. Not to mention the fact that PCs have faster processors than your 7 year old xbox.
Imagine being able to move cliff faces, raise water levels, paint grass, sand, snow, stone and metal on to any surface.
Imagine importing your own skybox, adding switches that open gates, lockdown bases, activate sheilds and start up automated machinery.
Imagine giving your vehicles custom paint jobs (the flaming warthog), adding your own easter eggs (missing cat posters).

How it would work.
It would be a completly seperate disc to Halo 4, but would be geared to Halo 4’s MM engine. Once your map was complete, you could either upload it to the web and then download it to the Xbox (although I think this would be rather expensive, money and bandwidth wise). Or there could be a USB to USB cable supplied with the disc that allows you to connect your PC to your Xbox.

Just a thought.

That’s actually an interesting concept.

Very good idea, but its very time and money consuming unless, of course, they just give us the very same engine that they used to make the game. Someone brought this up a while ago on the forums as well, maybe you should post it in the Feedback Thread. Anyways, I doubt it will happen in Halo 4rge.

very good idea!
