Halo Forge and my Opinion on it.

Honestly, I love Reach’s Forge. It made me physically cry when I got my hands on it and experienced Forge World for myself, and when I got to building, I fell in love.

I loved Reach’s Forge…although…I hate the budget.

I have always wanted to make a town or a Urban based combat map or even a full on base, I mean, it’s good, hell it allowed me to make a very detailed UNSC Firebase which was based off of Halo Wars. (message me if you wanna see it =3)

But I have always wanted to make a small town, or a city scape, or an ENTIRE defendable base with many features to it, but always found myself coming up short due to budget. That and variety of the Palette, I have always found myself also wanting to make my OWN forest, or my OWN tree’s and so on.

343 touched on this in the Anniversary Map Pack, and i thought it was a GOD SEND, but it quickly became boring as it was just one tree like structure. what I’m really trying to get it is, I love Reach’s Forge, it’s rather perfect, I would just like a large as hell budget, and a BEAUTIFUL Variety to what I’m making.

…now that i think about it.

Were talking about being on the UNSC Infinity for Map’s for Multiplayer…and since it’s a Combat Deck in which anything can be…

343, you clever -Yoinks!-~

I don’t think the budget is there to stifle creativity. I think the budget is there because there is only so much that the level can handle.

Unfortunately this is true. This was a case of bungie retarditis. They created one large map. This ultimately stifled the amount of peices we could palce due to the fact that the map would eventually lag to death.

I made a garudian remake (one of the smallest, if not, of all halo maps) and ran out of money and peices before i was finished.
