Well I’ve been think and Halo should have a system on vehicles covenant and UNSC.
After taking damage the vehicle is affected.
Warthhog: Loses the front part and if starts to move slow
Banshee: Wings break it’s harder to control
Scorpion: Engine it moves slower it loses it’s tires it can only move slowly and in one direction.
Ghost: Loses wings it moves slower
Mongoose: loses back seat one man vehicle/ Loses engine move slower
Wraith: Loses back engine thing it loses the ability ti boost it looses wings in moves slower.
Falcon/Hornet: Loses wings it spins out of control or it’s harder to control.
Other ideas please post
They need to be buffed, not nerfed when they take damage.
If those settings were applied, I -Yoink- you not I wouldn’t touch a vehicle in Halo again.
The only changes needed for Halo vehicles currently is a buff to their health.
They are buffed up in Halo 4
> They are buffed up in Halo 4
Hardly they get pwnd by PGs
> They are buffed up in Halo 4
Well then they need to be even more buffed because currently, they are like cardboard held together with Scotch Tape.
I think you’re just wrong OP xD
Halo 4 vehicles are literally less effective then wet paper bags.

Takes the same amount of grenades to destroy them as previous games. Problem is more so with people spawning with those kinds etc.
Anton 044, I like the idea of damaged vehicle parts, I also believe that you should be able to destroy the machine turrets on tanks and wraiths.
However, the parts should fall of when they have been shot enough for the damage to equal one third of the vehicles total health (the damage should still apply to the vehicles total health).
When ghosts have lost their wings, they should also have less boost length and the boost should recharge slower.
I think that when the scorpion has lost one tread, it should veer in that direction when moving. If both are lost, then the scorpion should only be able to move at a quarter of it’s original speed. (It’s not like the driver will be stuck in a machine that slow for an awfully long time, if both of it’s treads are destroyed, it’s only gonna have about one third of it’s health left and is then going to be a huge target)
Also, are we meant to also meant to think up new vehicles in this thread or are we just meant to think about changing the old ones?
If we are meant to think up new ideas…
As a Forerunner version of a banshee, we could have a vehicle somewhat like a glider that can be controlled by two players, the first player can shoot with twin hardlight cannons that fire at the same rate as a light-rifle but have higher damage, this player would also control the ship and can use the grenade button once every three seconds to drop a pulse grenade (there hasn’t really been many flying vehicles that have an option of being a bomber).
The second player should have the option to use a top mounted turret firing binary hardlight shots, they would be able to swap the turret from the top of the ship to the bottom by pressing the Y button so that they can have a higher range of view.
If they design this vehicle, it should be called the “Phoenix”.
Forerunner vehicles sound interesting.
I like the idea of when you take damage, it effects the vehicles performance ability. That would help balance them in. Like in battlefield, there vehicles are balanced with horrible controls.
Can we have Halo 3 vehicles back, please? They were perfect.
