Halo Fonts Collection

So I got bored last night and started tracking down all (or most of) the Halo text fonts into a little collection here on this thread. Most of the fonts are from the pre-343 era before the Halo logo was redesigned by 343 Industries.

Halo3

  • Font for the “Halo” logo for Halo 1-3, ODST, and Wars
  • Updated from original Halo font to include correct “2”, “3”, and “Wars” characters.

EF TV Nord Cond Bold

  • Font for the word “Reach” on the Halo Reach logo
  • Unfortunately I couldn’t find a free download link so you’ll have to pay for it :frowning:

Denmark

  • Font for the word “ODST” in the Halo 3: ODST logo, and Halo 3 “Believe” ads.
  • Also the font for Bungie logo, and 343 Industries logo.

Unfortunately, no updated Halo logo fonts yet since the 343 redesign for Halo Waypoint

  • also seen in the Reach, Anniversary, and Halo 4 logos.

No Waypoint text yet either. Maybe the community can take care of that soon.

Anyone got the font for “Halo” on Anniversary and Reach? I know it’s out here somewhere but haven’t seen a download link before.

Like I said in the OP, I haven’t come across one yet. The only Halo logo fonts out there are the ones from Bungie-era Halo. No 343-era Halo logo fonts yet at least until someone decides to make one themselves.

OP, found a font similar to the opening for Reach. It’s not the exact same, but it’s a start.

LOL i totally just made the waypoint font found in this image

all it is is Trebuchet then i applied and horizontal scale of 185% + tracking at 1100

obviously the O is wrong but all it is is the O from that halo 3 font with some minor tweaks.

I honestly haven’t been able to track down a Reach style Halo font. On the other hand, its also been awhile since I’ve looked. I might do a bit of searching and see for myself.

I recently purchased the WO3A Emile Spartan collectible figure, and was intrigued by the text used on the website (and also the box); it looked like a strange cross between Myriad and Gotham, so I did some digging and discovered that it’s a typeface from Process Type Foundry called Locator. This is the typeface used for the text ‘REACH’ on promotional materials for Halo: Reach (here’s a quick demo I set myself).

Regarding the other typeface used throughout the menus in Halo: Reach, this is actually Trade Gothic LT Std Bold Condensed No. 20.

I know this is old too lol, think the font used in Halo 4 menus an Waypoint is called is Baksheesh Font. Is the same font used in Stats and Forum. I think so… or a commertial one called Scriber.

Does anyone know about the font used in ODST for the name tags?

I searched without any results. (I’m looking for the font used for “S7SH,” “JURK,” etc.)

Closest I was able to match was Agency Gotham. There are some small difference in the 7 and @ but the rest of the letters from those service tags seems to match up pretty well
