Halo: Fistful of Arrows possibly canon?

It has been stated that 343 Industries staff approached the author of this fan-project, for consideration…

You say it has been stated yet provide no evidence of that. Kinda makes it hard to believe.

Here’s the source.

Got to love that quote:

> “A spartan cannot carry the weight of his own baggage… as he already carries the weight of Humanity.”
> ~ Franklin Mendez, Jorge-052, Jun-A266

… under a license similar to red vs blue. So not canon.
They probably didn’t do it because it was to be confused with real canon.

I think its fine to take it into your own personal canon until 343 come up with something to contradict it

I would say so until 343 actually tell us how he survived reach.

Did that ever get published in print? Would love to own a hard copy…

In my head, fistful of arrows is 100% canon. Its the only way I can find Noble Team an acceptable addition to the lore. =/

I like the addition of the ODST (Bungie.org members) and the Insurrectionists on Reach, really gives some further emotional dedication and destinction to the Spartan-IIIs and Humanizes NOBLE.

If only, he were still alive… Then you and Beamish could go for Fleet Admiral of the UNSC and President of the UEG, respectively.
