Is Fireteam Raven canon to the mainline halo games? Cause I don’t remember Chief helping out any odsts on the pillar of autumn?
I would read the above post from Sketch regarding FAQ. Has a section about the backstory of it taking place during the CE timeframe along with linking you to further information.
Supposedly, yes. But I don’t remember seeing any ODST’s in the CE campaign.

Well that’s because Bungie hadn’t created the ODSTs yet but canonically they would have been on the Autumn
