Yeah

Well it’s not going to be a return to the halo 2 and 3 days it actually looks like H5 with no thrusters and increased walking acceleration. I would like to play and see first how it feels. The sidekick looks really fun to use ngl

A solid game play experience in the Halo universe that respects previous games, gameplay, and that lacks the preying monetization of current generation of games.

yeah

I am hoping there’s a return to form for the franchise. The game will go in whatever direction the devs want it to, but there is still a great chance we can have a return to how big the community was back in the mid to late 2000s. I hope for longevity.

Assassinations and a fix to the way armour cores work (I REALLY dislike only having certain helms be allowed on certain cores etc etc)

So i know people had a ton of issues against 5 but TBH i really liked it. Yes its not H3 and the amount of time I spent on that game as a teen xD BUT change is not necessarily a bad thing. I like how the maps are arena focused and they DID NOT turn it into CoD which was one of my biggest fears lol

VERY WELL SAID!! The devs said infinite was going to be cosmetic as far as transactions and they want to make in game unlockables a focus. That was really good to hear.

Looking forward to the new weapons to try out.

agreed, it looks like a “fixed” halo 5, if that makes sense? it looks good! also can’t wait to see how fast the sidekick can go lol

That would be a dream! I remember the days of Quake ( God I sound Old lol) and Halo being top competetive games and a HUGE fanbase. I really get disapointed when games these days (not all of course) have no originality. Halo has always been fairly consistent for the most part.

Yes! 100% Thankful to hear game unlocks for playing. I really hope they are achievable unlike other games that require 1000% of your time to get cosmetics (Think Halo 3 versus Gear of War).

Halo 5 REQ system was ok and MCC is good. I’m glad to see they are mostly following that route. Unfortunately we will see in the end the depth of monetization ,at least it is cosmetically focused.

i think sketch mentioned something about reworking armor cores, and the limited capabilities of them recently. as well as- IIRC- they said a work in progress on-off switch for assassinations in arena? during the stream yesterday

HOW DO I UNCLICK THIS I DIDNT MEAN TO HIT SPOILER

H5 multiplayer was a move in the right direction if you ask me, as far as gameplay mechanics go. They experimented with new things and the game stayed fun.

If you were to ask me, a strong focus on the sandbox with not just the weapons but literally everything, from the environment, AI, vehicles, weapons, grenades, etc while still making them feel unique.

A great example is the Halo 3 gravity hammer, while it was essentially an up close AOE weapon it was able to manipulate gravity lifting the player or objects in the air, it wasn’t just a boost in lethality.

An example for environment is fusion coils, man cannons, conveyor belts, weapon sandbox interacting with environment (such as being able to cut down a tree with weapons equipped with bayonets) etc.

While HI does seem to be going in the right direction (Based on the footage of the flight) there’s certainly room for improvement that may come later down the line.

every vechile looks very a good a part of me wonders will you add back the falcon since it will be good to transport allies and could be used for a lot of gamemodes

An awesome story that feels like it belongs with the classics (CE,2,3 and ODST), yet brings Halo into the new era and is fresh. An improvement and continuation of Halo’s roots, not a redesign like Halo 4/5.

Ive grown up playing Halo and have been a giant fan for 20 years. One of the biggest things I hope they bring to halo infinite is the flood. One of the most iconic aspects of Halo is the Flood. When Halo CE came out I was 4 years old and the Flood was terrifyingly fun. The Flood is definitely a edge of your seat experience. One way I hope 343 could bring the flood into Halo infinite is a Flood firefight or survival. Imagine being apart of a Flood containment team, that has to secure and exterminate a Flood outbreak. Or your fireteam and you have to intercept a ship that is infected before it reaches a planet.

That would actually be really cool! Thanks for sharing this opinion
