Again, the full combination is 2 body shots 1 head shot for a kill. The third shot has a bleedthrough effect and since it has the instant kill headshot property that means death. Test it yourself in level 1 weapon drills its how the gun do.
The game is a beta so Iām sure there will probably be some ODST stuff in the future and Iāve seen a lot of bots wearing some really unique items Iāve seen one of them wearing what looks to be the Mark V alpha helmet from Halo 5 and Iām really hoping that the Halo reach Mark V helmet makes it into the game as itās one best looking in my opinion

Because the raw damage alone isnāt enough to kill as fast as possible so you must rely on the headshot multiplier to finish the job? Why are you acting like this is foreign concept this has been a Halo thing for the longest time.

Double scope does not change the rest of the gunās performance is very expressly a marksman rifle and not a sniperās performance, a weaponās effective range doesnāt mean anything in practice the BR on paper is bad at close range but anyone can tell you with a practiced hand its good at all ranges.
Skewer is technically categorized under the sniper weapons too and its more a spartan laser replacement than a sniper due to its fall off, projectile speed, vehicular damage priority, one shot body shot because it doesnāt prioritize head shotting.
If stalker rifle was a sniper that would place it as a third redundant weaker sniper that has no place in the sandbox nor has a meaningful gimmick to have a third one like how the shock rifle has a long range emp gimmick to justify its existence and 343 has made it plain by the lack of other series staple guns that they are cutting down redundancy to a minimum.
Iām pretty sure the UNSC sniper is anti materiel and not anti personnel which makes it pretty valid for it too do so much damage to vehicles. I think the vehicles are just too weak honestly, their made of paper to the point the warthog flies just by bumping a rock.
In my opinion the stalker rifle is a little bit redundant but redundancy isnāt that important in my opinion I donāt mind having a bit of variety to the weapon system everyone has their favorites to use anyway even if the S7 is more powerful there will be someone who prefers to use the stalker rifle regardless of its damage because they just like the weapon and the skewer shot yes is technically a sniper but itās more like the Spartan laser or the rocket launcher because itās mostly for vehicles not really for personnel thatās why it does so much damage if you hit someone anywhere because I mean you are shooting a giant Spike at them at the end of the day so it is going to kill you no matter what your health is at but the reason why I am counting the stalker rifle as a sniper class rifle is because the way itās portrayed in game if you ever see someone zoomed in with it it does the exact same thing that it would do if they were zooming in with the S7
I think at least part of the reason those weapons were nerfed was because 343ās data indicated they were overperforming. I agree that the weapon balance now is worse than it was in the flights, but I think a lot of it comes down to choices 343 makes internally. For example, players have been complaining about how useless the drop wall is since day 1, yet 343 refuses to make any meaningful changes since they feel it is performing as they want it to.

Not gonna lie the entire sand box is garbage, the only things that shine right now are the AR, the SPNKr, mangler, hammer, the BR ,and the plasma and frag grenades.

Back to the reply; No, it used to be 100% boarding a tank and doing that would kill the player and tank. Iāve noticed when lowering the shields of a driver, when boarding it doesnāt hurt or kill the player when boarded with no shield.
I am new to halo, but those 2 starting nades are truly dumb as hell. Nade spam is insane in every single match.
But I dont care what they do with that. I will respect old fans wishes.
Drop wall is good, the only buff it imho needs is deployment time to effectively block nades or projectiles like spanker.

On controller its fine, but Crossover you lose every battle to pistols . BR, Commando, AR, Mangler and even Bulldog in closequater. Its a joke.
I fully agree with you, I miss the carbine and DMR. The designs definitely feel too modern instead of futuristic space army weapons. Pistol could also be more āspace laserā instead of ā1986 NES style casingā, I wouldnāt mind that at all. (Very happy with how it works tho, I was just hoping by like u know 25XX A.D. things would look cooler lol)
