Halo Fans are Ruining Halo Infinite

You realy try to push this idea of yours. Can you imagine that all previous halo’s had interesting esports with grenades and meele punches? Just because in your opinion it doesn’t fit the flow of matches, doesn’t mean that it needs to be bad. With grenades and the meele being a part of the core gameplay and game flow, it seems to me that a lot of people are having fun with it and are not your opinion. So maybe humble down a little and don’t write your comments in such a condescending tone just because people don’t want to play an aim emulatur like you.

Tell me

Do you think people will want to see an E-sports event where the 4 vs 4 battles start with 8 grenades and what survives from the grenade storm you kill them with the melee-hit with very little “gunplay”?

If they only had 1 grenade per character and they allowed you the “type” of grenade you want to have, it would be more interesting and there would be more gunplay. If instead of the melee-hit they gave you a shotgun like gears for short distance engagements it would be more interesting

Sorry but the melee-hit damage makes me a “noobs mechanism” is a help that the “bad players” can kill something and have 2 grenades is a help for the “Noobs” which they can’t aim.

You can call it a noob mechanic all day and seeing how you even got a tons of arguments against you in your own thread about meele, I don’t think further discussion is worth it. Using your grenades and the meele punches adds strategic options to halo and make the game flow unique ind comparison to other shooters. If you don’t consider this strategic options and knowing to keep your distance or not, then don’t play halo. There are many shooters like valorant and etc. out there which are nearly purely about aim. Halo had an interesting esport scene and there are already a new league and teams formed (also from bigger esport organizations). This is my last line of discussion with you, if you want more arguments go back to your own thread. Have a nice day

At the end of the day it was a 343 decision to make the balancing changes, which presumably they did after playtesting them, if you want to blame someone blame them because the weapon changes don’t seem to reflect the feedback I remember.

You are right. 100000000%

I played the tech preview aswell and everything was much better than it is now. The Bulldog was awesome and affective in the Preview. Along with the Commando. Now both are as you rightly said completely useless and slow.

I even saw a video on YouTube that was called, “The Commando is good when it works”

The Bulldog is good at close range for one shot and a melee.

It’s annoying how the few have a voice and the many have to suffer because they don’t like how something works. In an environment like this, if it gets out of hand it makes more people leave the game then less people

Exactly, when you miss your first shot at 20m and the opponent can whirl on you and bow you down with thr AR while you cycle and land one shot but don’t have time for the follow up the problem IS NOT THE AR it is the ROF for the Bulldog!!

Snipers have dominated vehicles since Reach, and personally I’m ok with it.

I mean, it is a .57 caliber anti-material rifle, but realism doesn’t always translate to game balance. In this case, I’m fine with it imo.

So that’s why the commando, Bulldog and the Ravager are so weak.
I loved the Ravager in the first tech preview. Later it just felt like “Why should I use it?”

Not so much of a big deal, but I was pretty disappointed that they dimmed the glow effect for Halo 5’s energy sword because players of the beta supposedly called it too bright. Just can’t get my head around that. Give me the glowiest energy sword you can, and I’ll be happy.

I think all weapons are ok, I see no reason to change anything. Only one thing confuses me: since Halo CE I was able to kill enemy with Shotgun on one shot. But with Bulldog not lol.

Lol the edit is perfect.

Half the weapons are useless anyway because aim assist is off and can’t seem to be turned on. It’s a nightmare playing with a controller and not being able to actually hit anyone.

Halo Infinite is slowly becoming yet another Halo where it’s better to just use the pistol

I think the weapons atm are in perfect balence minus the others that noted, there’s no need to nerf any more guns tbf

Then they should have made it a power weapon.

I wish 343 would see this comment.

We want awesome flashy guns that feel good to use! What kind of dev makes all their guns boring to use!

To be fair, most Halo games had an obvious meta and obvious bad weapons, but Infinite is an online service, so they have every opportunity to make sure the game is perfectly balanced so that no weapon is the absolute best and no weapon is the one literally nobody will use. I sure hope they pull it off, especially adding in the new variants.
