I picked this book up last week and noticed something interesting about the cover today. If I’m not mistaken, that’s Chief looking at the Composer, isn’t it? I thought it was a nice little foreshadowing, considering it was released nearly three years before Halo 4.

The artist worked on Halo 4 at the same time as he made that Cover so it’s possible
You can clearly see that is 343 Guilty spark. The other versions are colored differently and it can be seen more clearly but it isn’t the composer.

Actually, each edition has a different object reflected in the visor. The original is Guilty Spark, Vol. I has an Elite, and Vol II has Cortana.
But yes, it’s not the composer.
I knew one had an elite didn’t know about cortana.
