Halo encyclopedia - hinting at Halo 4 Events

This is an idea I had a while back before I joined the forums. It had slipped my mind completely until I was today’s bulletin. Look carefully at this image below:

Firstly: Chief might not be the only Spartan on this cover. Suited humans (or I presume they are human) can be seen in the bottom right and left of chief’s hips. I first considered that this depicted an era before Reach however the Spartan’s never travelled to a forerunner district (or at least not like this). Therefore it must be after chief (maybe in Halo 4, 5 or 6?). Could this mean that there will be Spartans in Halo 4?

Secondly: Chief is not on a ring. As far as I can see this squad is not on a ring but on a planet perhaps similar to the one in the Halo 4 trailer/concept art.

Thirdly: Cortana is visible to the right of the chief. She looks like she is pain- possible hint at rampancy?

However I have also found some flaws in this idea:

  1. Chief’s armour is the suit from Halo 3 not 4.

  2. The suited figures could be some sort of ODSTs?

  3. The forerunner structures look similar to those found on rings not planets

I think it’s just unrelated cover art. After all the actually book has some information that would discredit things like the UNSC finding Chief anyway.

Could be but that seems a bit odd to me

You might have something, but I don’t think it’s anything significant. Could be wrong, but I wouldn’t put too much faith on it.

Well, I remember telling people Reach wouldn’t have the Flood in it and I was called crazy. I was proven right LOL. But hey man. if you’re right, you’re right.
