I have a weird problem where after i got a brand new limited edition of halo reach to get the Elite Officer armor but after i used the code on the xbox one marketplace it never a peird in my halo reach armor set or in the list of ready to install list for it?
Playing on Xbox 360 or backwards compatibility on Xbox One? When you put the code in did it let you redeem it or did it say code wasn’t valid?
It appered in my armor area a few days after i got it

I tried both of them out. And it did except the code aswell

Don’t worry about it OP, whatever armor you’re trying to get won’t impact your Reach experience in any way. There have been quite a few posts here lately about this type of thing(I’m assuming all of the server problems have something to do with it) but rest assured you’re not missing out on any advantages by not gaining access to it. All of the armor pieces - even the waypoint and legendary edition ones such as the red flames - do not impart any special abilities to the user. Basically a day-one recruit is on the same playing field as an inheritor with all of the useless armor unlocked(save, of course, the inheritor’s supposed knowledge of the MM maps and strategies).

Big reason Im mentioned it is because iv bin wanting to get the armor for a while.

That’s weird. I did see someone post that theirs appeared a few days later maybe that is the issue. Only other thing I can think of is maybe calling Xbox Support. Also, don’t listen to people that don’t say it doesn’t matter, it does and I know exactly how you feel. Yes I fully understand it doesn’t give you any advantage but if you bought a higher end edition of the game and are promised something then yes it 100% matters if you have it or not. It isn’t always about getting an advantage sometimes it is about you have it and want to use it. That simple.

Hey thanks man appreciate the help and support on wanting this gear. But this and the flaming helmet are the two only things im missing but ill try waiting about a week and if not ill Mostlykely call xbox support. Thanks again man.

If you’re on Xbox 360 go check your download history under “account” in settings (I think this is where it is but it isn’t too hard to find). On Xbox One go to the Halo Reach time, press start, manage game, and see if it is under “Ready to Download” sometimes that happens. It did the same thing for my pre order Sgt. Johnson for ODST and Recin for Halo Reach. Give that a shot and update us.
