Halo Effect 4

This is it guys…We have an ancient enemy that looks like the Geth from Mass Effect, we have weird as hell music from Mass Effect.

343 has this idea that Halo is as sci fi as Mass Effect. I always beleived Halo fit into its own genre of Sci Fi, as to not being too sci fi nor being un sci fi.

Music on the other hand was good after the first minute. The first minute sucked.

Eh, I’m not too impressed by what we’ve seen in the teasers, I’ll probably fully decide if I like the look of Halo 4 when we get some gameplay.

Ok so let me get this straight. Since there is an enemy you immediately assume looks like a geth when it’s just a bit of leg that looks like a spartan leg, a torso and head that are barely visible if at all, a arm we can’t even see any detail of in the background and a thin waist, and therefore Halo is becoming like mass effect for introducing a new enemy that we can barely see or know nothing about. We don’t even know if it’s an enemy.

The music is pretty cool but also rather different, but I don’t think it’s fair to say it’s Mass effect music for taking a different direction.

Lol that’s exactly what I thought. The music is perfect for mass effect.

This isn’t Bungie’s baby anymore. It’s matured and ready to try things it hasn’t done before. While the essence of what makes it Halo (Open Sandbox, Exploration in an alien habitat, 30 seconds of fun) will likely remain intact, things are gonna be different. For the fans of Star Wars out there, think of the differences between the OT and the PT. Maybe that might paint a clearer picture on just how different the next 3 games might be.

PS. Mass Effect rulez!

You’ve obviously yet to read Cryptum. It’s about as Sci-Fi as it gets.
