I’m really hoping the announce this along side the legendary edition. I’m pretty sure they’ll have once since they’ve had a halo edition console every generation but still only six months isn’t that much time, at least with the current state of availability of consoles. I’m really hoping they’ll announce it sooner or later because if not i’m gonna kick myself for just not looking to get an xbox series x right now.

I’m tempted to just buy a Series S for now. I’ve found it so annoying though any time a Limited Edition console has come out I’ve never been able to get my hands on it. Then you see them all listed on eBay instantly for a $200 mark up.
I feel like there won’t be one with the lack of release date and info. I want to play the beta, but feels like I won’t be able to without a console. The X is sold out everywhere too.
With how hard it is to get the new consoles right now I kind of doubt it, but it’s not impossible. I’d imagine their priorities are focused on getting as many consoles made and out the door as possible.

Really? I’ve been able to preorder both of the consoles I have at gamestop before they came out. But like I said, I don’t know how this console shortage will affect everything which is kinda scary bc I really want to get my hands on one lol. But I feel like recently the situation has been getting a little bit better. Like instead of selling out instantly, as long as you have notifications for places that are selling them or even just monitoring twitter. I remember last time I was on twitter I saw xbox series x and ps5 trending and it was posted about a half an hour before I saw the post and when I went to the site, I would’ve been able to get a ps5 if I had wanted to.

I don’t even wanna think about the struggles the UK is having. It’s unfortunate how hard it’s been to get some stuff shipped to you guys. Or at least some parts of the uk right?

That’s the first I’ve heard of any. If there have been special edition consoles for the new generation then I guess it might be pretty likely that one might come out. I know Halo 4 had a special edition 360, but I don’t know if Halo 5 did. If Halo 5 had a special edition console the trend that sets would mean it’s very likely that one will come out.
Did the Halo 5 Xbox One launch with the game? I think it came out a few months after the game came out, no?
I’m hoping for some Halo Infinite controllers.

i got the halo 4 xbox and the halo 5 one. The halo 5 xbox is pretty cool.
I severely doubt it’s going to happen. Manufacturing is already way behind demand for regular Xbox Series consoles (X and S). Ramping up a limited run production in this unprecedented supply situation and global silicone shortage likely doesn’t make much business sense at all, since it would divert from the main mfg. process.
For a long time, I thought it was a foregone conclusion that there’s be an Infinite themed LE Xbox, but I don’t think so anymore. Maybe for a big expansion a year or two down the line, but certainly not in time for a launch less than six months out at this point.

I would love to see one, at the moment it’s hard enough to just get a series x (unless it seems, you are a scalper).
There will be a lot of other peripherals available, it’s like they just want my money…and they know how to get it…
The Series X still sells out within minutes (or faster) of being put up online for most online retailers in the US.
At this point, Microsoft is still selling every console that they can produce for the US market. There are a few places overseas where it is easier to get ahold of one, but it definitely doesn’t seem indicative of the overall situation.
I don’t even want to think about how hard it would be to get ahold of a limited edition Halo version when the plain black version is still very difficult to get. (I just snagged one for my brother from a website yesterday, and it required knowing they were going up for order and refreshing the page, plus some luck.
Add this to the fact that they obviously didn’t plan on having a limited edition originally for launch, I think we would be lucky if we get a themed controller or “Legendary” edition of the game at this point.
while I’m proud to still be gaming on the halo 5 edition Xbox One, I know I’m not going to take the risk of betting on potential infinite edition and having it on release. It would be nice to have but with the chip shortage I just want to be sure I can play halo infinite in all its glory.

As of today no official limited edition console has been made for the Series X. Some companies have made some custom kits, but nothing you could get at major retailer.

I’m not sure where you are but if the find a Series X I would just buy it and not hang around. If they do make a Halo version it will be massively sought after and (based on current hardware shortages) in short supply. Shops can barely stock the normal Series X, let alone a limited edition version.

yeah, the one i was thinking about was the cyberpunk console but it was just for the xbox one
