I seen that video a while ago. I think its fake, but it still sounds cool. I think its fake because it uses the exact same font as Halo Reach and its only slightly different.
Since the owner of the channel seems to be pretty confident its real and apparently has a good reason for his confidence, I’m going to say its a 50/50 chance.
They already came out with a “Halo: Earth”.

Clearly fake the first video is just Reach photoshop, the 2nd video is just a rant about being called a liar.

You do know that it’s really easy to send emails that seems to be sent from “high up” accounts, linked to MS, Halo, CIA or similar. It’s a common scam as well as a good way to prank your friends.

343i would never release such info to an outside party before Halo 4 is released, it would kill Halo 4 sales. Secondly, Halo Earth does sound like a cheap coD clone, not impossible but sure a cheesy name sand anyhow it would just be a plceholder this early, not a final name.
Some kid who wants to get popular on youtube makes a fake email to himself, using knowledge from google. ^^

You can easily spoof emails. The only real way to have proof of sender is by digital signatures. (Though admittedly no security is totally invulnerable.)
Its common practice to not trust digitally signed emails in a corporate or government setting. Basic Information Assurance stuff.
Not to be mean, but he is most likely making it up to attract more views. I doubt anyone would go through the trouble to phish/scam someone without actually getting any monetary gain out of it.

the middle sillouette (sorry spelling) on the logo is the spartan on the halo wars box cover, also ots possible to forge an email address to make it look like its from a certian company/site etc.
343i is on record saying that they don’t plan on turning Halo into a 1 a year franchise, and in the past its only been kind of a coincidence, with multiple studios working on other Halo projects.
It could be older content, promotional stuff for whats now called Infinity, I’m willing to concede that.
As far as the e-mails go, I’m not saying its fake, things like this have happened before. How ever it was to the Marathon equivalent of Bungie.net.org. A prominent figure in the Marathon community, someone who is legitimately trusted because they have earned it. And not some random youtube blogger.Harsh I know, but it is what is is. For all we know its photoshoped. The story of the Cortana letters isn’t exactly obscure, and anyone with okay knowledge of Halo, and Halo’s universe could conceivably concoct this hoax.
I’m not saying its not true, I’m just saying I’ll keep an eye one it, but not get my hopes up that its a Halo ARG.

It looks exteremly fake i doubt 343 would completely copy and paste reach’s box art for a new game.
Oh and this would be better suited in universe or general discussion.
I’m not calling a fake yet. Everyone said halo 4 was a fake but now look. I believe it’s possible that halo earth is a game set for release in 2014 (with Halo 5 releasing in late 2015-2016) and could be similar to a reach kind of spin off. Possibly could be set up by a spartan ops series, and leafing into a full length game with hints at halo 5.
Although right now I’m very cautiously optimistic and will draw my final conclusion when more info is available.
But on another hand I hope this is fake. Primarily because I want my halo 2 anniversary, and the only way I could get both is if 343 took the whole one game a year approach, which is what kills games.
For now, I’ll just focus on halo 4. And be excited for that.
They will probably just call it halo 5? Halo earth sounds stupid.
