this is a serious issue in warzone and BTB… I’m in my gunner seat right? I’m ready to go my teammate starts driving… No mic… Yeah ok whatever… Drives around… Right into enemy base and sits there. I get killed by whatever…
Another time, same situation and my teammate drives straight into a tank like he is about to suicide bomb it and guess what?.. The other guy gets a double kill…
I think 343i should issue a driving program where you need to get a verifiable license to drive…
Pro tip for anyone who is driving!! Always keep moving. Moving is key to the gunners survival. If you see a tank, haul -Yoink- the other way… Or at least let me get out before you decide to do something stupid.
Remind me to make a map for this… I can make a map with buildings and hills that you would see in BTB and Warzone, and make sure I scatter time kill boundaries around to simulate needing to keep moving.
Driving in Halo 5 is not very good even if you are a good driver. No large spaces to enjoy driving. You end up driving through corridors where you are easy to kill.
And a very serious problem. Touch when driving is too light and vehicles weigh little, in fact, it seems that all vehicles traveling on skates. It is an unreal driving. In Halo 4 it was much more realistic and balanced.

Stop trying to Splatter people, eventually one of them will wreck you.
You are not a Tank, avoid heavy Vehicles completely.
Keep moving! Don’t slow or stop to give your Gunner a shot, let him learn to aim and you keep the Hog alive.
Watch out for team mates! Stop blaming the quit ban on team mates that boot you, that guy had every right to boot you after you ran him over in broad daylight. 3 times in a row.
Use the Brakes, the Hog has a Hand Brake and a normal Brake, you can use them to drive better (And also to avoid team mates)
Distance is your friend! the Hog turret has a very long range and you can usually drive around at a comfortable distance and still get Wheelman Medals without dying. Stop getting into AR range with people, you’ll get shot most of the time and/or crash into some embarrassing rock or tree, stop looking at the players and look at the road, it’s the gunners job to find targets.

Keep it low and slow, and -Yoink- when your gunner gets hit. Try to keep less than 2 enemies in view of your hog. Stay around the halfway mark of the map.
