While you may have not targeted any specific users in the server with your comments, the issue is that you used homosexuality as a pejorative because you thought it was funny. That is still discriminatory behavior, even if it wasn’t directed at anyone. If you really are open to learning then hopefully you will understand that your comment went beyond being simply “immature”.

Very well, guess sometimes jokes like that can be over the top as I said, is there anyway I can repair this?

Also I don’t want to show disrespect but I wasn’t showing any pejorative effect towards homosexuality, I support LGBTQ, while it is true that jokes like the one I made can come across that way, its mainly just a joke, there is dark humour but I do not disapprove of Homosexuality or think its worthless, thats just horrible to think about, especially with the current state of the world.

Jokes can sometimes be taken the wrong way and to be clear, I made the joke upon instinct because it was just the right timing for it.
Honestly my ignorance created the joke but I do not disapprove of homosexuality or any others like -Yoink!- and such. Any disrespect towards that is just horrible.
I apologise if my joke came across that way but I’m telling you I approve of Homosexuality and LGBTQ as a whole, it was an joke I made upon instinct without considering the consequences.

In all honesty the joke I made I can understand how it is disrespectful and Ill definitely avoid relating towards it in the near future if it means proving I can be trusted again, it was just instinct because I like to make jokes but I won’t deny it, there is a border between funny jokes and jokes that shouldn’t be approved, the joke I made is not acceptable and I see that.

I respect master chief as a video game character as well, in fact you could basically call him my inspiration for why I even play halo in the first place.

Creating the joke instinctively was my error but I do not hate LGBTQ in anyway, I completely support it, people can be whatever they want.
Please understand I ain’t lying.

Also to be clear, this isn’t a beg, I’m just pointing out I respect LGBTQ, I ain’t begging for my ban to be uplifted because I know by doing that it’ll just makes things worse.
I just want to prove how much I respect LGBTQ and I really respect it.
And I want to prove I respect master chief, he is my hero, my inspiration, the reason I even began halo in the first place.

As per the rules of the discord server, you are responsible for any activity that occurs on your account, whether you say it was your friends, family, or even your dog. However, I find it interesting that you claim that someone else did something on your account that resulted in it getting banned, yet you seem to know exactly what the activity was. Just want to point out that when appealing, it’s best to be 100% honest and own up to your mistakes, rather than attempt to cover for yourself.

I was recently banned from the halo discord for mentioning a leaked voice line. Idk if i can say what it is here. Either way, i agree that i was in the wrong and i should have looked more carefully at the server’s rules. The reason I am appealing is because I only mentioned the voice line and didnt go into any detail. Long story short, I was an idiot for doing it, but I’ll never do it again

This happened around 2 years ago. I regret inviting him back, because he would have learned nothing for being banned in the first place. Time has passed and I knew better before, but I know now that it was ignorant to even try to bring him back. - I was banned on another discord account and I deleted a while ago when I forgot the password.

Ok, so I got banned a couple of months ago so I’m not really sure when it happened but the reason I got banned was that my account had gotten hacked, and apparently the hacker had put scam site links in the chat.
FYI: I resolved this issue by putting 2FA on and changed my password and there has not been any suspicious activity since.

I think I was talking to someone and a third party user came in and it angered me. I told them I won’t take them seriously because of their username. Their username was xxxxx and next to it in brackets “she/her” I think that was it. Reading all the other appeals in here, I’m very likely going to get a “discriminatory check back later” response. I made a mistake I shouldn’t have mentioned my beliefs or political beliefs. I didn’t specifically say out loud any bad words. If I am unbanned in the future I’ll keep things to myself that might offend other people and not engage in any nonconstructive argument. I was angry that person stepped in and was against what I had to say and I was talking to someone else.

I can’t remember a date.

So, I got banned (without any warnings, this was essencially random) from the discord for “homophobia.” I had at this point been in the discord for 2 - 3 weeks, and all I’d even said was either asking for help with Infinite/giving help. Yes, I have complained a ton about infinite because it refuses no launch or download of xbox games, but I’m not sure how transphobia or homophobia is even derived from that.
