That was several years ago, I was dumb and ‘edgy’ then. Since then I’ve grown and matured as a person and have left those kinds of topics behind me as they’re nothing but issues waiting to happen, but I can see why the ban happened and fully understand the reasoning behind it. It was a fair call for the time.

My version of the events:
I made a statement regarding the ongoing datamining in the flight build of Halo Infinite wherein I joked that a certain character would make an appearance as an AI and that they were present in the files (Similiar to the jokes claiming that Guilty spark and Craig Ai’s were confirmed for infinite), my message was marked with spoilers too.
I have no idea how to datamine games and I had not seen any posts or videos relating to the subject of the joke being featured in the game.
This resulted in the message being deleted and me receiving my first warning. I understood that making false claims regarding datamining was wrong and took notice of the warning.
2 minutes after receiving my warning I got a message informing me that I had been muted for 180 days.
For the appeal team:
I know that it is wrong to joke around with stuff like this, but I feel like being muted for 180 days is a bit too harsh considering the fact that this was the first time I broke the rules of the discord server. Especially when loads of people on discord and reddit have been joking around that other things were confirmed in the game, like the Craig AI joke and the 343 guilty spark AI.
I get that I broke a rule by marking a joke with spoilers, but being muted for half a year seems a bit too extreme considering that it was a joke without any real world connection to the datamining of the flight (Atleast that I know of) and that it was my first rulebreak.
I can assure you that this won’t happen again.
Leaks, real or fake, are not allowed.

I’m not exactly sure why I was banned, it was kind of out of no where with no explanation/ warning. but I have 2 theories as to what really happened. If one of these is correct please let me know! Alright my first theory is my username, it is Papa Park1nsons, I can understand why could be banned for something like this as my username refers the illness commonly referred to as Parkinson’s Disease. If this is the issue, I do not mean any ill will towards people with this disease, it is only a username that I thought sounded good! and i do not have anything against people with this disease either. Now for my second theory, I’m not sure when I said this but around mid day where I live ( eastern time ), I said the words join VC Jigghas, without thinking. this word does sound like another word, The n-word to be specific. this is not what I meant. this word is what I call my friends, we kind of just made it up, it really has no meaning, it just is a friendly word that we use to call each other. Now I understand that I do not know any of these people personally. and I was not paying attention, I just said what was at the top of my head. I just wanted more people to join the VC so we could play together. I really do hope you can understand, and let me talk to the really cool halo community again!

I asked the question why there were three body types in the Halo Infinite Alpha as opposed to the standard Male and Female in previous games and the Moderators snd Admins became very hostile. Telling me to “Adjust or get left behind old man” just for asking the question. I understand there are multiple types of bodies and I don’t have a problem with it being in the game. I was just curious as to why there were just 0, 1, and 2 instead of the way it was in past. Before I could further explain myself I was banned without reason. Not even a mute or warning. I feel this ban was unfair and out of spite.
