So i wrote some months ago that i used a trainer, that is basicly a hack, in the general channel as a joke. I mentioned that it made the forklift overpowered and nothing else. The Moderator that ban me didn´t check if it was true or didn´t let me to explain what i said. I don´t remember why i said that but it was a dumm thing of my part.
I didn´t use any hack and i don´t plan to use any hack in matchmaing games, First because the easy anti cheat normaly dosn´t allow us to use any moddification and second because i would risk everything that i have done in my mcc acount.

I was banned from the official halo server a few months ago. My discord name is MemeLord76_05#1657. The hidden ID is 573245525491712014. When i joined i was edgy, cringy, rude, and disrespectful. I apologize for that. When i was banned it was for making a racist joke, i said “what starts with n, ends in r and is something you never want to call a black person”. It is racist and i understand that now and then. There is no excuse for it and I understand if this appeal is not accepted. Since then i have been a lot better with my behavior, especially after joining another halo community server, even becoming a moderator in that server. I have an explanation for my behavior however i would prefer not to post about it here. Thank you for taking time to read this. If you would like to talk more about why i was doing that i would by glad to talk.

In the halo subchat for infinite people were posting their thoughts on which game had best multiplayer, regardless I was meaning to type “halo 5 is grand”(Was going to go into detail of the grand big team battles) … But phone corrected to “gay” instead of grand, im Sincerely sorry for breaking the discrimination/derogatory rules even by mistake it wasn’t my intention. It is to note the moment I sent the message I saw my error as it was deleted in assuming automatically.
After that I did state that the "g word "was banned realizing my mistake almost immediately, though I wasn’t banned yet. However returning later it seemed I was.
At this time I’m requesting an unban if possible. The halo discord is a good source of halo news due to the discord pins and notifications I can easily get on top of what’s going on since I rarely use Twitter or other forum of social media.
I can assure without a doubt it I would never type such things again and make sure doubly so. Further I would like to add that I mostly have my discord on red don’t disturb, if I was messaged concerning this issue or an admin pinged me I was non the wiser. So I assumed I was at the mercy of an auto ban bot, which I didn’t get a dm regarding the ban info or anything. Also This was the first offense? I think, I only posted like 4 comments over the week or so I was in the discord.

Hello. After checking your post history, it is clear that you did not mistakenly post or that it was a typo. You posted “h5 kinda gay”. You indicated that you clearly understood what you were posting because right after you commented “apparently the G word gets deleted lol”. Also the assertion that your phone autocorrected to “gay” when you were trying to post “grand” sounds like a flimsy excuse; the words are too different and the position of the letters are too far apart on the keyboard for a typical typo. It’s clear that you were joining in on the conversation at the time about H5 being a bad game and decided to use “gay” as a pejorative to try and get some laughs. Your attempt to avoid responsibility by blaming autocorrect is blatant. Had you fully owned up to your actions, admitted culpability, and shown genuine remorse, you would have had a much better chance at getting the banned overturned, but based on this appeal, your ban will stand.
Keyboard and phone aren’t the same especially when typing fast. When on the phone there are word pop-ups of what to choose its simply that, be it I typed gay more frequently than grand I could mistake for it especially when after work not fully noticing. And I may have had the intention of typing grand(since it didn’t obviously I wrote it wrong or tapped one of the auto words to close to each other…)
The usage kinda as in H5 kinda grand which i was trying to assert for the grandiose nature of big team battles. Stating the term such as “gay”. Was entirely accidental. Be it my normal typing patterns i sometimes start by lasting a few words then sentences after, the initial deleting of the first comment derailed any comments of big team battle I was going to post about. So I decided to just express my foul by stating outright that the " g word" was banned having realizing my mistake since the half second I saw my comment it had gay in it…
I guess its hard to infer genuine responses from the constant feed you have to filter without voice or face to face. I hope my follow up reply, will show my feelings on the matter. Also as I expressed just like you said after the fact I had realized my error as grand wouldn’t have been deleted as I saw the instant I posted it sometimes writing faster than reading does do wonders I relent. I would’ve followed up more by showing by discourse but I had assumed auto word deletion would’ve been the end of it. Again I do apologize.

Seems to be a small thing to get banned over, if it is a rule or a hidden rule by mods discretion reactions should be disabled then? Moderation on the discord seems very heavy handed, support ticket and email would be a better alternative than instant ban and silence to be fair.
My initial thought to HLG ftw to me means Halo games for the win.

It is what it is. If my appeal is rejected, oh well, I can still help May Hamn in other ways with his bot, and I’ll just keep using ytbers for halo news.
Got accepted to the technical preview so am excited to see how it is.
I understand why they are so heavy with moderation, its a discord ran by a company, so rules, moderation, and what can and cant be allowed has to be strict else bad PR and can lose deals/partnerships. The silence afterwards I can agree is harsh but no one is entitled to a reason why they are banned. I was lucky enough to get banned way before they had a bot to dm to tell you your reason haha. But since that was the only thing I had done in the discord, hadn’t even sent a message if I recall correctly, I dont require the bot.

You were banned, along with several others, for reacting to the “Rules & Guidelines” post with phallic imagery. Now, it’s possible that you may have just forgotten that since it’s been so long, but the reason for the ban was valid because that was an inappropriate action. The admins are considering unbanning you and allowing you reentry into the server on a probationary status.

Ah, yeah I definitely dont recall reacting with those, but you guys do have logs, so I can’t argue against it. Not that I would. I had thought I had only done the hlg ftw reactions, even after i got banned i believe thats all i remembered tapping on when telling people. My mistake for sure. My guess is I had tapped on them whilst meaning to tap on the hgl ftw reactions. It’s been too long to recall.
