Bought Halo 4 the Friday of its launch week. Played disc 1 for awhile then installed disc 2, since then my xbox says Halo 4 disc 1 is unreadable. Uninstalled-reinstalled and that didn’t work. Took it to Gamestop to get a replacement disc and they refused saying it was my xbox that caused it to stop working. I’m playing Battlefield 3 and all my other games just fine. Please any help would do, just want to play Halo:(

i think your disc 1 got scratched while you played it. could’ve installed both before playing but whats done is done. Get a copy of a friend’s disk 1, or rent it.
Did anything nudge your Xbox while Disc 1 was in it? If you’re using the older model, did you have it standing vertically? Both can increase the risk of disc damage. :\
