Halo: Didact and other unannounced games

Before Halo 5 releases, 343 will announce a mini-campaign game scheduled to release in 2016 called Halo: Didact at E3 2015. This is me just predicting the future, of course and there is no proof for this anywhere I’ve looked (in other words, nowhere).

Halo 4 introduced the Didact as a really boring/-Yoink- character and that pissed me off because I liked his backstory. 343 realizes that putting the Didact in Halo 5 is a career-killer because no one wants him back so they “put him away” in the comics in a way that they’ll have an excuse both to bring him back and not to bring him back (they should have just killed him in the comics).

Because they didn’t kill him in the comics, they have to bring him back eventually (just hopefully in Halo 6, we REALLY don’t want him back in Halo 5). To get people hyped for this, they’ll release Halo: Didact in 2016.

Halo: Didact will be an ODST-type game (a game made just for the fun of it). It’ll feature you playing as the Didact during the Human-Forerunner war and basically just -Yoinking!- -Yoink- up (it’s no fun unless you play on Legendary-like ODST). And there will be Flood in this game. HELLA Flood.

In 2017, Halo 3 Anniversary will be released onto the Master Chief Collection.

2018 is Halo 6 and it’ll work like Halo 3 (P1 is Chief, P2 is Arbiter), and you’ll be fighting the Flood (which comes back in Halo 5 lead by Cortana) and maybe even the UNSC (who knows?) and the Didact too, I guess (but eveyone will be okay with him because of Halo: Didact).

The end. If 343 actually does any of this I’ll be just as surprised as you are. Ok, they most definitely ARE releasing Halo 3 Anniversary in 2017…

Halo 4 Anniversary in 2022, Halo 5 Anniversary in 2025 and Halo 6 Anniversary in 2028

(If the Haloverse is still alive then)

Even if one is just speculating, you might as well have some arguments. Otherwise, I could say the next Halo game stars a genetically modified ferret named Steve.

If even, the Anniversary theme would stop at Halo 3, if that reaches the anniversary treatment.

Eh, Halo 3 doesn’t need it.

Like…that’s what I’m doing

Halo 3 is my favorite campaign, so while I agree that it doesn’t need it, I would still love to have it

Ok no Halo 3 anniversary unless graphics change dramatically. I say we are looking at a new Halo Wars 2, an ODST type prequel for either Didact or Seargent Johnson, or a Halo Reach style story about Spartan Team Black or Kilo Five

Ayeeeee so you’re with me on the Didact thing? But graphics will change dramatically as they always have

I honestly expect Chief to be killed off or imprisoned by the UNSC in Halo 5 to make room for Locke. Therefore, he couldn’t be in Halo 6. Plus I’d like to see a new main character.

I highly doubt they kill of the Master Chief. Likely the day he dies is the day they make a final Halo game. Locke is the new arbiter for this Halo trilogy

Funny cause I predicted that Chief or the Arbiter would end up killing Locke lol

Mmm if the Halo 3 anniversary was to happen…mmm I’m going to bet no, just no. Or not till the next xbox. K Thanks.
