Before Mirror’s Edge, Titanfall, and Black Ops 3, there was Halo CE. The engine actually supported wallrunning. The feature was made for the Flood enemies, but it can be turned on for yourself. Here’s a video from Generalkidd showing Halo’s wallrunning in action.

Thing is, the maps were designed around the absence of it, yet it could still be supported.

Well ask any Halo fan, including myself, if they would want wallrunning in Halo, 90% of them are going to say hell no! Sprint is barely being accepted how do you think we would react to introducing even more advanced mobility?

If it was a proper 2-4 step run then I think I’d be fine with it but any more than that is bs
It seems like a mod which isn’t something that should be discussed.
With that being said, grenade jumping has always been a big part of Halo and made things very interesting if you mastered the timing
