Halo Customization Lies, January 5th 2022

I also disagree with the paying piece by piece argument as well. I wouldn’t have downloaded the game if I was just going to end up waiting 2 years for it to be fully finished.

Do you see my trying to villianize Trend0 for disagreeing? No.

We’re all adults here, probably; we can agree and disagree.

No it just looked like yall were in cahoots lol, now it just looks like you have 2 accounts

: )

Which is pretty evident when you look through the free event items, and when you compare it with what’s in the store, there is no crossover between the two at all.

The video was clipped to show the discrepancies of what was discussed after the ad ran (chronologically speaking) without the further context describing the miscommunication between the ad team and the dev team that led to the advertisement showing items that were not available through the free portion of the event.

IMO this is could be considered false advertisement even with the apology, but only legal action would prove/disprove this to be the case. Until then, it’s merely speculation.

I mean even the promo poster for ‘heroes of reach’ has chromas and skins from the campaign and the shop, not even from the battlepass it’s advertising.

Some one is upsetti spaghetti. Stick to the topic you have kid.

Why are you posting this like this just happened? This is old news. They already said they goofed (weeks ago at this point, right?) and they already added a bunch of the shop items to the free event. The mea culpa is done and we get 11 extra cosmetic goodies out of it.

Have you seen the shop lately friend

Probably just got here. Not everyone is on the up and up.

When did they say they goofed? It was my impression the goof happened, Tenrai week 2 started, and then the shop opened with the new shop stuff for the event yesterday

You can get in touch with a lawyer if you want to make a case for it.

The poster doesn’t actually make any mention of the battlepass as much as it shows off content that can be acquired during the first season of Halo Infinite.

I’m not saying you’re wrong in your interpretation, but there are other ways of looking at it.

But again, I wanna go back and touch on this point because you seem to be avoiding it:

Is this not a pretty cut and dry separation of the items you can acquire?

On a live stream for the winter event. Happened a couple a weeks ago.

Apologized and everything.

They weren’t in the store yet, ad came before the update.

…Yes? Where you here last month when they said they were making changes because they screwed up… and behold: they made changes?

You gotta be more specific than this

What changes did they make? The $20 mister chief ai and the $11 knee pads were the last offenses before I saw the tenrai shop stuff.

How would you differentiate what is a earnable item in the event pass and a buyable item in the shop if all you have is a tenrai commercial that uses gameplay.

I personally would differentiate with my eyes…

They removed 11 ranks of filler from the event and added in 11 ranks of cosmetic unlocks that included the items that players were most vocal about. Mostly the samurai helmet. There’s a bunch of other content like assorted armor attachments, colors, an end-game stance, a visor…

What, the obviously cool stuff would be in the shop?

Okay but we have. Dude. The tenrai shop items currently. That’s what I’m talking about. They would’ve put it ALL in the pass if they wanted to appease players and not their wallets, no?
