Thoughts on releasing the Halo Custom Edition on the xbox 360, we’re everyone can make maps, with A.I and create their own campaign, Just like the PC version.
Good idea?.. Community would be stoked.
I would love that port, if all the current custom maps could work with it. I’d love to play Lumoria while talking to my friends.
The only issue with that is that it opens up the platform in a way that Microsoft has essentially come out and said they’re not OK with. Also, there would be no way of getting the maps onto your console without violating the user agreement or voiding your warranty (technically speaking).
The closest thing we’ll ever get to a console version of Halo Custom Edition would be if they do another Anniversary and include a Forge mode.
This would never happen. There are too many limitations with a console.

I think this would be very cool, but I don’t think it will happen.
This would be amazing, but unfortunately I don’t think the XBox could handle it. Even if they could, how would you make something as complex as some of the maps on Halo CE on an XBox. One of the closest things they could, but won’t do, is make it so you can download those maps to this XBox CE game from the computer, and host your own server with that map.
