You had thousands of gamers ready to pick Halo back up and start playing it again. You claimed to bring back the Halo 2 and 3 ranking system. Evereyone was ready to get addicted to Halo again. Then we found out about how it WAS NOT like Halo 2 and 3. You could NOT SEE your rank. What is the point of having rank you cant see?! How does that even make it competitive if you can’t see your opponents?! The thousands of gamers that waited till today… are going to go right back to COD. It was pretty obvious why true Halo fans loved CSR… the number rank you could SEE. MASSIVELY DISAPPOINTED!
Sorry, jack. I don’t think they can edit the in game menus now. I hear it’s too complicated.
Eh, what the hell do I know, though. . .
Pretty sure everyone already knew that it wasn’t visible in game only on the website.

They have always let their motto be “Make the game more accessible to new players” and I think they left it out on purpose because of that. It’s just the simplest explanation, and won’t create a lot of fuss.
ok… let them go to CoD
they aren’t going to find in CoD the ‘‘competitive skill’’ they wish for Halo 4.

Bungie did it with Halo 3, why can’t 343 do it for Halo 4?
> Pretty sure everyone already knew that it wasn’t visible in game only on the website.
Obviously not. I’ve seen a lot of threads about it even though they announced it was only on Waypoint months ago.
The core Halo fans want to be like the old days. They want a reason to COME BACK TO HALO. They thought this was it. Obviouslyl we were wrong. I am so blown away how they dropped the ball on this one!

Hell if I know. I’d like it if they would.

>343I says CSR won’t be visible in-game from the beginning.
>343I says they are bringing back CSR, but doesn’t claim it will be exactly the same.
>343I cites technical reasons for why they can’t add visible CSR in Halo 4.
>OMGZ 343I Y U MAKE CSR ONLY ON WAYPOINT AND Y DIFFERENT
Seriously?
LOL, I get thats what they said. BUT THATS NOT WHAT THE FANS WANT!
I knew people would still be cry- er, uh, dissatisfied about the CSR.
The whole Win/Loss Ratio thing is still a bit confusing though. Whether it goes off your current standings or it starts over?
Haha… I understand you guys that want to defend 343… but they dropped the ball. They either need to fix this ASAP and do what they can to make the number visible, or people are not going to come back to Halo.
Its not even that Important since no one can see it. And people wont be searching every person they play with via Waypoint. Its pointless.
They Really Drop the Ball.

They’ve stated it can’t be fixed. Either leave, or wait for Halo 5.
But why you are bringing this up now when we’ve known this is how it is since Day 1 is beyond me.

Seriously, has the OP been living under a rock for the last month? CSR is fine.
When I read threads like these, I really wish there were a “dislike” button.
No matter how much you shout it at me, I refuse to believe that people come and leave Halo for a silly numbers game.
> No matter how much you shout it at me, I refuse to believe that people come and leave Halo for a silly numbers game.
CSR is one piece of the puzzle. Every piece affects every other piece in some way.
For example:
CSR encourages some people to play harder.
Players who don’t care about CSR play harder because other people are playing harder.
More intense matches are more frequent.
Thus, game is more gripping.

Where have you been? Its been know that it would not be visible in game for quite some time now.

I’m a core fan. and i dissagree with this statement.
