Hey guys! If you have played halo 3 the mission Floodgate, right before the cutscene in the middle of the level, there was that crazy marine. What do you think happened to him? I also wondered why he never got infected by the flood that came out of the same room. I just wanted to know you guys thoughts on the subject. What happened to him?
There is a theory that the marine cracked and shot everyone in the room, human and Flood. The evidence that strongly supports this is that the bodies show no signs of infection, contradicting what the crazed marine babbles on about.

I often kill him lol 
If he survived the flood outbreak, then he would most likely suffer from PTSD. It’s highly likely he would attempt to commit suicide multiple times after the outbreak. If this guy did survive, I really hope he was placed on suicide watch.
