Okay, so I’ve been having trouble with this for a while. What should my next Halo project be? I was thinking about making either a Mark V suit, Recruit, or Recon armors. Any ideas or preference?
If I was going to make one of those three suits of armor I would make the Mark V. But I’m working on a ODST cosplay now then I might do a Mark VI.
Question, will 343 send you the designs or will you measure and trace out yourself?
You will have to measure it and trace it. I make my armor with EVA foam so what I do trace it on paper then tape the paper onto the foam then cut it out. You pretty much just have to guess on the mesurements. Just what even seems right. Or you could use pepakura which is something completely different.

I remember making a HALO: REACH ODST set of armor for 2014 comicon, It doesn’t fit me anymore because I grew 5 inches since then ;-;

Look around at stores like home depo and lowes. They should have the EVA foam. I personally get mine at harbor freight

Probably at WalMart or your local hardware store.
hey guy im thinking about making a rogue helmets from halo 5 do yous know good way get a modle of one
maybe a halo 3 recon or just mk v they sound kinda cool
Ya know… while I am not 100% sure which armor you are doing, the 405th probably has the pepakura or foam template files you are looking for. As for scaling, that is either guess and check or can be done using a program called ArmorSmith. I am starting work on my Reach spartan. Best of luck!
