Halo Controller Sensitivity too slow

Hello, This is my first post, I’m just curious to see if anyone else feels like the controls on halo feel sluggish. I am maxed out on 10 and it feels like it needs to be doubled to 20.

Try decreasing the dead zones. They seem to be set really high at default 12%. Also remember one of the known issues is controller settings reset so make sure to check that it is still set at 10.

Thank you, it is still set at 10 and I’ve reduced the dead zones to 0, I’ve just gotten used to extremely high sens and I was just hoping Halo would raise it up on this one.

I had to do the same aswell lol

Agreed, even a sensitivity of 20 feels like it would barely be enough. I know this can effect rendering, but assuming mouse users can spin around this shouldn’t matter. I really hope this gets addressed, as it is very hard to play at this low of a sensitivity even at 10.

Way too slow! Like someone else said, even 20 might not be enough. Idk if it’s a bug, or what, but I don’t feel a huge difference from 1 to 10 sens.

I completely agree. I’ve maxed out sensitivity and it still feels slow

Yeah, I have it maxed out, it is slow.

Just started playing and I want to also report this. All sensitivity is at 10, controls still feel super sluggish and it’s hard to react at the speed I usually would as a result. It needs to have the option of being much higher. Had to adjust the default deadzones too.

I had to turn mine down as 4 felt too fast for me haha.

Very agreed. And if there could be a turn speed slider that would be f*ckin great!! :pray:t3:

Once I set the dead zones to 0 and the max to 15, the centrals to 6, FOV 90-100, look accel 1. I found I hover between 4-7 sens depending on how I feel.

What would you say is a good setting for the deadzones on controller? I just find the aiming to feel a bit “wonky” aim assist feels a bit sticky so i am just trying to figure out how I should adjust the deadzones. Thanks for the help in advance!

I’ve definitely felt this as well I had this issue with mcc as well but it feels worse in infinte

acceleration is turn speed

sensitivity seems fine to me, I play on 4. I don’t know how you guys want 20 lol.

Problem with putting the sensitivity to like “20” is you run into the issue of players facing you before their player model turns, so you can’t reliably tell where someone is looking. One of the best things about halo was if someone was facing a direction it meant they were actually facing that direction, unlike in cod etx where they can face left and shoot right because their player model doesn’t seem to move as fast as their ludicrously high look speed

deadzones are mostly to combat controllers with stick drift and slow turn. I would start with deadzones at 0, see if your stick drifts when you set your controller down. see if you are turning slower. Then increase it if you need too. Inner deadzones for stick drift. Outer deadzones for slowturn

BOOST SENSITIVITY!!!
I NEED IT FASTER IF SOMEONE IS SHOOTING ME FROM BEHIND I DONT STAND A CHANCE IF IM BEING SHOT FROM MULTIPLE DIRECTIONS I DONT STAND A CHANCE BOOST THE SENSITIVITY PLEASE I CANT PLAY THIS IF THEY DONT IM SORRY I LOVE HALO BUT THE SENSITIVITY NOWADAYS IS VERY SERIOUS THIS IS TERRIBLE THE MAX SENSITIVITY ON HERE IS CONSIDERABLY 2 OR 3 SENSITIVITY ON ANY OTHER GAME, IF THAT LOL… AND YOU GUYS WANT ME TO GO AGAINST PC PLAYERS GIVE ME A BREAK PLEASE!!! LOL
