I AM SO PISSED OFF !!! and of course the people that make the decisions hide behind the customer support staff, never to be reached. Who came up with the idea that one group of people that purchased a product (i.e. Limited Collectors Edition) could have their Digital Copies swapped out; however another group of people that purchased a product (i.e. Halo Guardians Xbox One Console) could NOT have their Digital Copies swapped out. Microsoft & 343 have defiantly pissed off a long standing customer since the Original Xbox came out and the Halo franchise.

Actually the Console is available for the swap. Both Gamestop and the Microsoft rep(hazel) I chatted with last night confirmed that.

I’ve talked 9 reps for Xbox and they ALL told me the console wasn’t able to be swapped out for a physical disk.
Mine went through fine, they entered my code and said it was eligible. Rep had me picture the receipt and we talked about how it was nice to have something from the plan black console and he got my serial. Good to go.

it’s so frustrating because you can’t talk to anyone that can explain why the exact same game in the same box and same contents is not valid just because it comes with the Halo Xbox One Console.
Today they told me that it was an error that people were getting this

^^^^ I agree so much with this. It’s the same digital content regardless of the box it came in. Why should it matter if the code was packaged with a console or a statue?

It seems that a lot of people prefer that…
I’ve chatted to several reps and supervisors, both online and on the phone. Some have been nice enough to disconnect me too rather than even let me finish what I’m saying or interupt me. This is complete utter bs. Same exact download code, same exact game minus a plastic statue, plus a console. And yet they won’t do the exchange despite twice the price of said plastic statue. I’m now forced to try and sell said download code at a loss just to get my physical copy that I paid for. “Bundle is for a download code, game is free” bureaucratic Microsoft bs. You pay for that game, every other 1tb outside of the new elite bundle inbound with the special controller and hard drive is $100 cheaper. Had I known this I would have just got one of those despite how cool the halo console is and bought the physical copy separate. This for me was an upgrade to my existing day one edition. Maybe next time I won’t, I’ll just get Sony, Nintendo and apple products from now on.
