I am an avid halo fan…And I’ve been thinking about getting the new Halo 4 console…However i am wondering something…With the supposed release of the next xbox being next year… I have a first generation xbox which is doing quite well, but I can tell that its starting to breakdown, and am thinking that the Halo 4 xbox will be a nice replacement. But Ive come to a dilema…Would it be better to invest into the next xbox or…go ahead and get the Halo 4 one?
You have a 20gb HDD and you can use about 13gb?
Halo 4 will require minimum 8gb and that leaves you with 5gb left.
They are going to release map packs and they will probably be around 800mb-1.2gb and we know there’s going to be at least 3 map packs. I don’t know if they counted the map packs that they are going to release in the feature when they said 8gb though.
Installing the game will speed up the loading times. You can’t really do that.
That doesn’t leave you with much space for other games.
I’d say you should upgrade. Not only because of the space but your Xbox is an older version and it probably sounds like a jetplane. You also get WiFi with the new Slim model and the new (nintendo) buttons on the 2 controllers.
Xbox 360 black with a 250gb HDD cost around 299$ from what I’ve seen.
The extra controller is 60$
The game is 60$
You get some DLC and the custom 360 controllers and 360.
You also get a 320gb HDD ( don’t know if you need that much space though)
Go for the new Xbox!
We don’t know if the new Xbox is coming next year. They haven’t even started talking about it officially. They are probably going to reveal it at E3 2013 and I don’t think they will launch it the same year they reveal it. I’d say 2014 is a safe bet.
I’m a little iffy on that. How well is your current xbox doing and how long do you think it will last? If you think it will break down before “Xbox New Gen” get the Halo 4 Console. But if you think it can last until “Xbox New Gen” and your happy with what you’ve got I’d say to wait.
