The lying from CDPR is a problem very unethical but the conversation was specifically on MTX in games. Not anything else.
But cyberpunk did not have MTX did it? And it did make A profit off of normal sales no?
Regardless of all other controversy regarding cyberpunk, there were no MTX and it did make a profit from $60 sales.
So yes it’s a perfectly relevant example.

Nah it’s not really a good look to do either. This isn’t an academic forum or an academic environment in general. If discussions do brush up against academic subjects in this sort of place dropping I have such and such classes or GPA or IQ for a win is rather pathetic.

Halo community would be happy if 343 closed doors and MS announced a competent studio was handling the franchise.
I think its fair to say, people dont hate halo, they hate the buggy messes that 343 insist carry the halo brand.
Microsoft should buy-out Saber Interactive, Certain Affinity, Liquid Development, and Skybox Labs - Combine them together, and then call it…
Saber Interactive works on the Campaign.
Certain Affinity focuses on Multiplayer.
Liquid Development focuses on Cosmetics.
Skybox Labs focuses on Forge Mode.
Honestly, any studio that has put out a single game that was well received and/or a single game that worked as intended.
Either would be better than anything produced under the 343 label have had so far, both would be ideal.
There has to be someone at Microsoft looking at the low player count, the lack of fixes being implemented, the fixes that actually do more harm than good to the game and be wondering where that sweet sweet half a billion went?

I understand that but a lot of the criticism isn’t constructive it’s just complaining about how there aren’t BR starts, how behemoth sucks, and that people can’t/won’t adjust their gameplay when dealing with the new grenade type. There’s a lot less civil discourse too.
