The WZA double XP is big here because it’s kinda dead right now hopefully can bring in some players. The weapon tuning playlist I really can’t stand because the br is just way off. BTB I enjoy but it won’t give much xp but might still play some

Double exp sounds alright. I think I might stick to Warzone Assault. Sounds like nearly all the games will be playable now but we’re only missing 1 Halo now…Spartan Strike. (The fact that’s it’s taking so long makes me wonder if the spin-off series sold poorly)

Yes halo 2 would be awesome if it came backwards compatible it’s my favorite game. I think people aren’t talking about the h3 playlist because we don’t know if they will make it a true classic playlist ? The anniversary playlist comes to mind but guess we will see

I actually thought about posting something last night, but was too tired and have been super busy today. There are some important announcements I agree (mainly the backwards compatible information) but overall I found it to be a pretty tame update.
Glad BTB is getting the double XP treatment. Would much rather play BTB then that unbalanced, the rich get richer, garbage Warzone mode (minus firefight) that’s for sure.

One of Gh05tayame’s last projects before leaving 343 was working on the classic playlist that’s launching soon. It comes with a bunch of re-created maps from the forge community and specially tuned settings to mimic Halo 3’s gameplay - this means no abilities and no sprint.

No they shouldn’t that br is horrible, there should never be random spread in an fps. Even pros that competed in h3 commented on how the br was inconsistent in h3 especially online. That’s why when MLG took over they modified the damage to 110% to make it more consistent. The weapon tuning BR is a good idea but take out the random spread. The low rate of fire and low magnetism would be enough

This sounds pretty hopeful. I am not a huge Halo 3 veteran. I have played it only sporadically and I terrible at it. It should be interesting how the playlist goes.

Yeah I am on the Xbox 360 again. Been playing Reach firefight and GTA San Andreas mostly.
