Halo Community Tournament
Purpose: Provide a competitive environment for the Halo Community that isn’t part of the pro circuit and provide a taste of what it takes to be a top eGamer. This is for fun and encourage human interaction among the community.
Motivation: My Halo career started with Halo CE and since I’ve been a loyal Halo fan. For a bit I got away from Halo and video games in general. I decided to jump back into the videogame scene and Halo 5 was my first choice. I was a bit nervous but all fears were washed away after my first frag. Balance was great, guns felt right, there weren’t custom loadouts, skill finished on top, but most importantly Halo 5 was FUN. It became so infectious that I felt the need to give back to the community. I’m in love with this MP. Growing up with a sports background, there was nothing more thrilling than participating in a tournament. I want everyone to experience that with H5 in a competitive yet accepting environment.
to clarify this isn’t a commercial tournament. This is meant for the community and creating experiences and replicate the feeling you got going to LAN parties back in the glory days. There are prizes but that’s to install the competitive spirit, give teams something to look forward too, and importance of winning and teamwork. I’m doing 100% of this on my own time for you guys
