I’m normally not one to complain about this kind of thing too often, but man are things getting a bit ridiculous lately.

I play lots of Big Team - it’s pretty much my favourite way to play Halo (some objective modes would be nice though, but that’s not what this is about). I’ve played a decent amount of matchmaking today and all I’m getting is Exile, over and over and over again. Ragnarok gets voted for far too often IMO as well (again, it’s a fun map, but variety is the spice of life and all that).

Now don’t get me wrong, I love Exile - it’s a great map, but is it such a crime to want to play on something else? Maybe Vortex? Vortex is fun, but I’ve only ever played it twice in the last few days, and I haven’t played Meltdown in such a long time that I can’t even remember if I like it or not.

Hopefully the map pack due for release next month will sort some of this out, and I know that 343i is going to lower the weighting of Ragnarok on Monday, but does anyone else think that BTB could benefit from some Forge maps being added in to the rotation as well? The built-in custom Forge maps that 343i made seem like they could be pretty fun (maybe except for Impact, which is clearly made for small team games). Settler in particular looks really well suited for Big Team.

I totally agree with the Exile problem. I got Exile 5(?) times in a row yesterday and now I hate the map. Now with Ragnarok, I love it no matter how much I play. I do wish that Meltdown, Vortex and a few others get voted over Exile though, and agree it’s a problem. Map packs (assuming that they’re worth playing) should fix this

Yeah, the annoying thing is that today I stayed with the other players after the game ended, thinking that they’ll surely vote for something elss eventually, right? I was proven wrong on that one…

Edit: Oh someones god, they just voted for Exile AGAIN. -_-

There’s a few factors TC:

A) The other maps just aren’t as good. Sorry people don’t like them.
B) There will always be a large amount of newbs who vote for Exile praying they’ll be on blue team so they can finally get some kills riding in the back of the guass hog.

I don’t really care for Exile that much, but if it is a choice between that and the rest of the garbage maps I’m choosing Exile. The only time I don’t vote Exile is when Ragnarok hits.
