The HCP foundation will be launching today, within a few hours at the latest. Very little has to be added and touched up; keep an eye out for the download!
Hello community of Halo! I’m a long-time Halo player, and after many years of being in the clan community, most notably the community groups you can find on Facebook, I’ve decided to attempt to make my contribution to the entire community and single-handedly create a tool the will hopefully be useful and widely spread across the player base of Halo 5 that own a computer; a program that emcompasses nearly everything relating to Halo 5 and the Halo community. While this is primarily intended for those who participate in clans, it can certainly appeal to casual players as well.
The program has been in development for approx. 2 months now, and is being given very delicate attention and design. This will not be like quite a few of previous community projects that have been talked about, but never happened; instead, this is being given full attention, and will be publicly available the same day Halo 5 launches.
Here are just a few key features it will bring:
- A list of all clans publicly advertised, along with vital information regarding them, such as history, ranks, how to join, clan-specific maps, and more. Note that all the information included is information that has been made publicly available, so no worries about the program revealing sensitive information, and any clan that doesn’t want to be included can easily opt out. - A list of all maps within Halo 5, including map layout, weapon spawns, tactical loopholes and locations, and many other features that will make anyone use the map effectively. - A comprehensive guide that will walk everyone through the game mechanics, forging, creating a clan, campaign levels, and give basic advice to any newcomer Halo players. - And many, MANY more features that will be kept as a surprise. In total, there are about 70 different sections so far in the works. - NEW! Now that 343i has announced an API in the works, I just may be able to incorporate it into the program, and if so this means that the program will allow LIVE gamertag data feedback. Want to see that leader’s K/D, or maybe see what playlist the members do most? It could be possible! While I alone am programming, designing, documenting, and making (most) graphics of the program, there is indeed a small handful of others who are helping the program grow. On top of that, the program is intended for the community, which means anyone who takes interest in helping to form it become the #1 stop for anything Halo can indeed contribute!
I know there isn’t much proof in words, so here is a link to show just a teaser of what the program looks like:
Redirecting...
I will be keeping most of the HCP updates on that page, but this post will also receive updates for anyone that doesn’t use Facebook for any reason. If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback on the program, do not hesitate one second to say something. This program will be covering Halo 5 primarily, but may end up covering Halo 4 (Xbox 360), Halo: Reach, and Halo: MCC as well.
If you wish to contact me, please do that either on this site, or on the program page. Please do not try to contact me on my Xbox LIVE account, main reason being this program has my undivided attention, and thus I will not be on XBL much until I can consider the program to be thorough enough to be given less attention.
You can also inquire about the community itself here:

Happy gaming everyone!
