Hey guys, I’ve been trying to get in on this community playdate tonight, my son and I that is. I have messaged all of the team members it listed but got no responses, and rejected friend requests. I don’t know what a xbox live “text” is, which some people requested but that can’t be all keeping us out. What going on? Why does it say contact these people if they don’t reply? How do you get in, do you have to be a “preferred” member or something…lol. Please let me know before tonight, my son’s pretty decent, he always wins and wants to test his skills against some good players.
If you message them, you’ll get an invite later today (probably). Sending them a friend request with almost surely be denied. And there isn’t a “preferred” member status. Just because they don’t respond back doesn’t mean you aren’t noticed. Think about it, though. They would have to reply back to a lot of people and they probably have better things to do with their time (well, maybe not BS Angel but that’s beside the point)

Calm down, mate. Just sending them a message is all you need to do. Once they get to your message, you should get an invite. The game time starts in about 5 hours and goes for a few hours. They get a ton of messages and people that want to play with 'em, so they go through and invite.
Also, their rejected friend requests is probably due to their friends list being full. So don’t think they are being mean and ignoring you.

While we would love to respond to each and every message we get, we instead focus on using them to send invites throughout the evening. I can only speak for myself on this, but my friends list is full so if you sent a friend request, it wasn’t that I declined it, it was that I didn’t receive it.
Be warned we don’t get to play with everybody, but we always do our best to play with as many people as humanly possible in a three hour time frame.
